Notes from Cantor Avima

Has reading the siddur been a barrier for you? Have you every thought you would like to learn to read Hebrew or improve your Hebrew reading skills so you can participate more confidently at services? Our ongoing Siddur fluency class (for those who already know the Hebrew Alef Bet) is resuming on Fridays on zoom at 1:30-2:00  beginning Nov. 7. Just check the Adath Shalom calendar for the zoom link. 

Our in person torah trope class is on Thursdays at 3:30. Students are assigned portions and we practice each reading together. This is a very supportive environment. If f you are interested in learning the skill of torah trope or just need a little coaching,  please let me know. As well, we could use some haftarah readers!
