Cantor Avima Rudavsky Darnov

The Day of Chesed was a big success!  Our students together with students of the Religious School of Temple Beth Am made close to 200 (?) bags for nourish.nj,  made butterfly suncatchers to give as gifts to residents of Arbor Terrace, made cards and pictures to donate to  organizations that distribute them to hospitals, foster homes, assisted livings, etc.... We also baked cookies for the Dover Faith Kitchen  (thank you to Ros Werner who  runs the Kichel baking project), wrote letters to IDF lone soldiers, painted rocks for cemetery visits, learned about Israel Guide Dogs, made Shabbat boxes for Rabbi Rudin to share with hospital patients and thanks to your donations, we packed about 14 Purposeful Acts of Kindness (PAK) Bags. We would like to made a few more  PAK bags, but we need the following: 6 hand towels, 5 more bottles of conditioner, 2 more bottles of body wash. We do not need anything else at this time. However, we could use help in transporting everything to nourish.nj. If you can donate, please email me first  cantoravima@adathshalom.net so we don't end up with way more than we need.

And, as we sadly commemorate more than 100 days of our Israeli brothers and sisters being held in captivity, here is a video made by Cantor Azi Schwartz. Bring Them Home
