Shabbat Message - Parshat Bo...

01/22/2021 12:51:10 PM

Jan22

In this Parsha, Moses instructs us to always remember the moment of liberation from Egyptian Slavery: ultimately it was not a miracle, not a plague but the will for freedom and release from oppression that powered the Exodus.  That will and that longing burns in the Jewish heart: I invite you to light Shabbat candles this evening and feel that flame within.

Hybrid Shabbat services tomorrow start at 9:30 AM- join us on Zoom! Shabbat on Broadway is tonight on Zoom: see the calendar.

As a lead-in to Shabbat, check out the beautiful Martin Luther King Celebration organized by Adath Shalom's Rebecca Fisher and her family.

We Have A Dream sign for MLK day

Join us for our Tu Bishvat Celebrations- Gift yourself a fruit that you haven't eaten since before Rosh HaShana, say, "Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech HaOlam, Boreh Pri Ha'Eytz", she'hechiyanu and share with a loved one: reflect on the blessings and wonder of the natural world!
