The Last Shabbat of 2020

12/27/2020 11:29:00 AM

Chevre (Friends),
As we prepare for the last Shabbat of 2020, I reflect back on the many challenges and losses we have faced, as a community. I am also greatly appreciative of the creativity and openness we have brought to keeping our community together, and I look forward to new beginnings in the new secular year.
We may not all gather together for our Friday Night services, but I've enjoyed reaching out to many of you, via my Facebook Live Friday pre-Shabbat posts. I love hearing back from you, too!
Another recent addition, in the late autumn, has been my Live Stream Zoom to Facebook Live (5-10 minute posts) of "A Moment of Meditation". If you don't have a Facebook account, no worries, because it is shared publicly, so you should still be able to view the meditations. Click for the latest.

It is sad and painful and lonely to be apart all these months. We are a persevering people and if technology will allow a version of togetherness, we will keep experimenting with that goal in mind!
Prayer, meditation, exercise, hydration, sleep, good nutrition, and acts of lovingkindness! One day at a time, noticing our many blessings along the way, we shall persevere!
Wishing you all good health, strength, peace, and love!
With many thanks to The Creator for helping us to stay connected with each other!
