A Moment of Meditation - Tuesdays at 10 AM

I hope you are all well, and are taking care of yourselves. These past few weeks have been filled with increased anxiety across the nation, and, for many families in our own community, increased personal challenges of health and well-being. Adath Shalom is a loving community, and time and time again, we are there for each other.
 
Facing the challenges of isolation for some, and over-burdening for others, can be exhausting. I can tell you that prayer is a powerful tool, but if daily prayer is not yet your practice, it may not be helping you at this moment in time.
 
I do know that talking to a friend, to clergy, to a family member, can help. I also know that many of you are busy and can hardly find time to meet all your responsibilities in a given day, let alone schedule time for an in-depth conversation.
 
Meditation also helps, and can be practiced in many different ways. Beginning on Tuesday, November 17th, I'll be experimenting with offering "A Moment of Meditation" on Tuesday mornings at 10am. This will be a five or ten-minute meditation to help us all stop, breathe, center, and then get back on our way! My plan is to stream it live on Zoom and Facebook, and you will be able to access it live and/or in the recorded version. I hope you'll find it helpful.
